Construction Projects Based On Engineering Insurance Risk Management Applications Research

With the increasing complexity of technology, the consideration of risk in construction project is promoted. At the same time, the importance of risk management and engineering insurance are gradually realized and accepted by people. Therefore, it is an urgent and practical research project to establish a pattern of construction project risk management based on engineering insurance which based on current Chinese construction practice and international convention.At first, the thesis probed into theories related with risk management and engineering insurance, investigated and analysed engineering insurance's content and function model in some developed countries. Based on the introduction and detailed analysis of risk management research actuality, using foreign practical experience for reference, the theis proposed the whole frame of the pattern of construction project risk management based on engineering insurance, researched and analysed the function of owner's risk management and insurance consultant company, insurance company and engineering insurance agent in detail. Finally, the thesis brief analysed external environment which is needed to apply the pattern.The opinions and suggestions that carrying througu engineering insurance and risk management by engineering insurance agency institution are provided in this thesis on the basis of the analyses of the theories, current status and the practice of construction risk management and engineering insurance. More comprehensive discussion is required to improve and promote the application of the pattern of construction project risk management based on engineering insurance in our country.
