Power Enterprise Human Resource Management

Chinese Power Enterprises are growing in strength under thelong-term protected policies of Chinese Government. Although somecompetition systems have been introduced since the beginning of thereform on the Chinese power industry, the competition is still a kindof unavailable one which is no divergence. There is still a largedistance between the competition and the real marketing one. It is thehigh time that the modern management system should be establishedin those enterprises.With the access into WTO, the reform on power industry isbecoming faster and wider. It's an end to an era and a start to another.An all-round, high-rank and more severe competition is unavoidablein the power industry. The power enterprises must have their ownparticular nuclear competition so that they can establish themselvesin an unassailable position. In the procession of the reform, humanresources management would play an important part in it.During the procession of the reform on the inner systems of theenterprises, one of the problems in this period is that the humanresources management of some of the power enterprises can not geton well with the marketing situation which our power enterprisesmust face to nowadays. Once some of the problems can not be solvedproperly, the reform of the power industry and the development of thepower enterprises would be blocked.The purpose of the paper is to analyze the current situation ofthe human resources in the power enterprises by using cases andstatistics of the power enterprises and pick out the problems in thedifferent stages of human resources management, such as recruitinterview, agent training, performance checking and award-winningsystem etc. In the end of my paper, some improvement measureshave been put forward according to the practical situation of thehuman resources management in the power enterprises.
