The inbound tourism of Qingdao has been developing very quickly in recent years. However, the current internationalization of Qingdao's tourism is quite low. In order to build an "International Tourist City", the development of inbound tourism market of Qingdao is quite a tough job, and the study on the inbound tourist flow is an important link of the development of inbound tourism.In this thesis, Qingdao inbound tourist flow is regarded as the researching objective. From space dimension, the author applies some index, such as Approach Qingdao Degree Model, Travel Market Competition State Model and Pearson, to analyze market structure of tourist nationality, space and space correlation according to China tourism statistical annuals, statistical materials of China National Tourism Bureau, statistical materials of Qingdao tourism, 2005 sampling investigation materials according to tourisms from outside in travel agency and Liu Ting Airport of Qingdao. And at the end of the thesis, countermeasures to open up Qingdao inbound tourism are proposed.From the analysis of tourist market space structure for inbound tourist flow, the Approach Qingdao Degree and Market Competition State of Korea and Japan are best, and Market Competition States of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan are better, and Approach Qingdao Degrees of another markets are smaller and the Market Competitions are weaker.From the space flow analysis of tourists, tourists from other cities or other countries for inbound tourism of Qingdao have the larger space flow performance with some cities, such as Yantai, Jinan etc. Furthermore, flow performances of tourists from travel agencies with other cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzou, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Dalian etc., are larger. And individual tourists of inbound tourism of Qingdao have the larger space flow performance with cities of Shandong Province and those of other Provinces.According to the correlation analysis of the inbound tourist flow, Qingdao's tourist flows have the larger correlation with some cities in Shandong Province, such as Yantai, Jinan etc. Moreover, Qingdao's tourist flows also have the larger correlation with such cities as Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Dalian, etc.At last, the thesis presents some strategies of exploiting Qingdao's inbound tourist market resources, including tourism destination image, products brand, area union, travel promotion. According to special problems in tourist market development, some countermeasures are proposed such as development of tourism market by grade, development of main subdividing tourist markets, optimizing tourist consumption structure, strengthening travel industry management, restructuring and standardizing order of tourist market, etc.
