With the development of reform and opening to the world, Building & Decorating Industry with private enterprises as its leading force has become a burgeoning and significant increasing spot in national economy. It has been proved by various figures that Western private building &decorating enterprises play an important role in pushing the western economy forward. With the deepening of the western development, more and more outside enterprises would rush into the western market and the survival and success of western private building & decorating enterprises in the exceedingly heated competition lies in their competitiveness.This article uses theory of enterprise competitive theory and core competitive ability, and combined with characteristics of building & decorating enterprise, analyses competitive ability of constituting conditional and potential factors in the building & decorating enterprise.
