Green Barriers On The Export Trade Of The Western Region

The accession to the WTO has brought the new opportunity for development for Chinese foreign trade , the green trend of international trade brought the unprecedented impact at the same time. We have to face a new problem and challenge, that is green trade barrier(GTB).As a kind of new developing trade protective barrier, GTB now has already been adopted by most countries. Because of the effect of environmental protection of the GTB, it will not be weakened in the future that be rooted in the hearts of the people in environmental protection idea day by day, on the contrary it will be strengthened day by day. At the present, the study on GTB of our country mainly lays particular emphasis on the cause, characteristic, form of expression, overall influence on Chinese foreign export to the GTB, and China carrying on summing-up research to the countermeasure of the GTB. While the special and direct research about this particular area and GTB in the western region was few. As GTB's impact on export trade of our country being greater and greater, studying how western region tackling GTB then to win fierce international competition has academic and realistic value.Concept of GTB is mainly put forward by domestic academe, and we can not see similar noun in searching the foreign documents and materials. However, domestic study on GTB can be included in the study of international trade from "trade and environment" that had already begun at the beginning of 1990s.
