XQ mining company is a state-owned enterprise with a long history. With the increasingly fierce market competition, the traditional compensation system gradually doesn't fit the company's strategic development. The reform of company's compensation system is imperative.Firstly this article briefly elaborates the related theories about the compensation and the compensation management.Secondly,the author describes the current compensation system in the XQ mining company and makes a thorough analysis about the existing problems in the company's compensation system .The research discovers: the company's compensation system was dull; distribution mode was stagnant; staff's compensation development channel was not smooth; and the leader had a oversized power in handling the staff's compensation ;the compensation system lack the strategic vision; staff's skills and achievements were unable to be presented in the compensation system. Finally, the author carried on the optimum design in the company's compensation system based on the ideas of strategic compensation, the comprehensive compensation, the broad compensation and the XQ mining company's real situation The author proposes many practical and feasible solutions. Under the premise of not improving the amount of the company total wages, these solutions will realize the strong encouragement in the compensation system and provide the powerful support for realizing the company strategic target.
