Engraving Gravure Printing Machine Structural Analysis And Design

This dissertation is based on the sub-research about the development of equipment for intaglio experiments. It researches some subjects such as the strength and the natural frequencies of parts in the equipment in method of static analyses and model analyses of structures. The sub-research opens out the deformation of the pressing cylinder and the plate cylinder, as well as the walls of the framework, with heavy printing pressure in the machine. It also analyses the influences of the natural frequencies of the framework system on the quality of the machine and printing products, based on the printing practice.The development of equipment for intaglio experiments that the sub-research based on, mainly supports a platform for printing research and some references for the design of intaglio printing machine in future.We made use of some method as usual. In the beginning, FEM structural analysis helps us to make a structural plan for the machine. We also carried out some printing test and got some testing data to verify the result of the structural analysis. We made use of a computer 3D system to create models and a structural analysis system to evaluate the structure. These modeling and analysis systems, Pro/E and Pro/Mechanica, come from PTC. The materials, loads and the constraints of the model mainly referenced to the actual working state of the machine.The equipment that we developed has filled our purpose for experiments and we have gotten some testing data from it. It has shown that the analysis result is in accord with the testing data.Although this sub-research is based on the development of equipment for intaglio experiments, it will give us some references for the development of printing machine in use and the design work of the next generation intaglio printing machine.
