With the continue developing of Chinese economy, the manufacture industry for the demand of the machine tools, manufacturing equipment industry is rapidly increasing, which has brought development opportunities for the large-sized machinery and equipment manufacturing industry. Such large-size devices are usually used for large, heavy type of the work piece's processing, and requiring a higher precision. therefore, an urgent need to override the corresponding class of machine tool accessories to provide the appropriate functionality and precision.In this program, for the shortcomings of the existing large-size heavy materials chuck overall , which has poor performance, easy to wear, the clamping force of holding the large-size and heavy work piece is not big enough, which will easily lead to the clamping is not strong, poor precision, and parts and materials are wasted seriously, of which the various parts of the chuck modeling analysis, and using ANSYS software to analysis the structure, stress and modal, to identify the impact performance of the key factors and parts, size of the various chuck, and for these elements optimizing the design so as to improve strength, ensuring enhancing the use of material under the premise of performance utilization, to realize the purpose of reducing weight, and to meet the demand of the large-size and heavy chuck of Chinese equipment manufacturing industry, leading the whole industry of machine tool accessories to rising high.
