| In recent years, our country has taken great efforts to develop the machinery manufacturing industry, which increases the need for the industrial products and the demand for the pipes. But there still exists some defects in the pipe cutting methods used in China, failing to meet the need of efficiency and precision of modern industry's pipe cutting, and this has a negative impact on the whole industry's development. It is imperative to improve the pipe cutting machine and propose a proper new program, which can make less processing errors and reduce material waste, achieving continuous cutting with efficiency in the production line. This method can provide smooth cutting section with no need of grinding, and saves time and improves the production efficiency.Starting with the study of the crumb-free cutting principle and the research of the structure and composition of the planetary crumb-free CNC pipe-cutting machine, the author has collected a large number of materials and data of similar machineries and similar devices, and through the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the various programs, it finalizes this overall scheme. The planetary crumb-free CNC cutting machine studied in this paper, uses the crumb-free processing principle to make the planetary bodies as a transmission chain, and with its auto-centering function, the machine can keep the pipe geometry accuracy. The main movement is that the general electric motor, through the shift bodies, rotates the cutter heads and cutters, and the cutting feed is realized by the speed differential gear combined with Lo claw, which is controlled by the feed servo motor. The whole process is easy to control and achieves a high cutting precision.During the research process, this author analyzes the mechanism and motion of the pipe-cutting machine; discusses the diameter and spatial position relations of the cutters and the tilt angle of the cutting; calculates the cutting force; and determines the motion parameters.Taking the advantage of the computer software, the author takes a finite element analysis of the core component-the cutter. After the stress analysis of the cutters in different angles, the author makes a comparison of the results, and proposes a suitable cutter program for production.The pipe-cutting machine studied in this paper is characterized with simple structure and high efficiency, and it can meet the various requirements of production line. The machine is economically viable and can provide a precise cutting for the pipe. |
