The dyeing of muti-fibers is very difficult.The processes of dyeing and finishing become more and more complicated because of the diveristy of fibres,yams and textiles as well as the application of new fibres.In recent years,pigment dyeing develops quickly for low cost,simply process and low pollution,meanwhile pigment dyeing demonstrates its advantages and significances with the development of muti-fibre blended textile fabrics.In developed countries overseas the proportion of pigment dyeing is more than 50 percents in the field of fabrics dyeing,but only 20 percents in china.Persently products of pigment dyeing exist some questions, for instance the stiff hand feeling,bad color brightness,low tinctorial strength and color fastness to rubbing,especially in dark shades.Thus the application of pigment dyeing is limited.Furthermore the problems of globe enviroment and water resources become more serious in the 21century,therefore the researches on pigment dyeing of muti-fibre blended fabrics have significance.In the article,the dyeing properties as well as the particle diameter and its distributing of different pigments are compared in order to choice excellent pigments for pigment dyeing.Meanwhile,the hand feeling,color fastnesses of dyeing products and film building properties of diferent binders are studies to determine properly binders for pigment dyeing.In the article,a low temperature formaldehyde-free binder M is synthesised by means of emulsion polymerization.Through the investigation of monomers,the dosage of functional monomers and polymerization processes,the optimal process is determined.The color fastnesses of pigment dyeing for light color of bamboo/polyester/cotton fibre blended fabrics with the binder M is good,but for dark color it still need to be improved.The perfermance of binder SP-H is excellent,but its price is too expensive.In the article,the binder M is compounded with binder SP-H to prepare the binder L by determining optimal compounding ratio.The hand feeling and relevant color fastnesses are excellent by using the compounded binder L for the pigment dyeing of bamboo/polyester/cotton fiber blended fabrics,especially the color fastness to rubbing of the dark color pigment dyeing fabrics can aslo meet the commercial need.The compounded binder L is a low temperature binder.Substrates don't need curing after a pad-dry process,so it can conserve energy sources largely.In the article,high temperature binder H is made by compounding the binder PDA whose color fastness to dry rubbing of dyeing products is good and the binder TEP whose color fastness to wet rubbing of dyeing products is good.By using the binder H for pigment dyeing of bamboo/ polyester/cotton fiber blended fabrics,the perfermances of dyeing products are excellent.In the article,bamboo/polyester/cotton fiber blended fabrics are process by high temperature binder H and environment friendly resin SDP with the method of one bath process of pigment and resin.Not only recovery angles of fabrics are improves,but also the color fastness to rubbing of pigment dyeing fabrics.The craft shortens manufacturing process,saves energy resources,improves labour productivity and can realize the purpose of conserving and reducing dissipation of energy.
