In order to meet the needs of architectural features, high-rise buildings often need to set the conversion layer, the layer structure with conversion of the vertical component is not continuous along the height direction, leading to uneven distribution of its vertical stiffness. In the earthquake, because the mutation makes the structural stiffness in the conversion layer in the vicinity of the corresponding displacement and internal forces are also generated mutations, detrimental to the earthquake. From the conversion layer structure, due to beam conversion layer compared to other forms of conversion layer structure of the force transmission is relatively direct and clear advantage, it is now widely used in practical engineering.This paper describes the conversion layer structure of the status quo, development trends, and several issues to be resolved, and then discuss the girder transfer story structure and design of the force characteristics of the finite element method and related theory. Finally, application of large-scale general-purpose finite element software SAP2000, the establishment of reinforced concrete shear wall core tube beam conversion layer structure model. By combining several aspects of this paper, has been beam conversion layer structure and its components in the seismic performance characteristics and force some of the conclusions for the future of engineering analysis and calculations similar to the design reference.
