As the capacity and the economy of battery continues to improve, Electric vehicle has received more and more extensive attention, which is one of the major development directions of new energy motor vehicle. The construction of charging infrastructure is an important prerequisite of advancement of electric vehicle.Different from substation planning or gas station planning, the planning,construction,maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and the influence of power grid after vehicle charging infrastructure connected to the system has its own distinct characteristics. This paper divided the development stages of electric vehicle charging infrastructure into 3 stages, the demonstration stage, public stage and commercial stage. And the characteristics of each stage are studied. The optimization model of charge mode choice is put forward in this paper, and the charging demand of each changing methods can be forecasted based on this model. The principle, process and model of planning for charging infrastructure are proposed. Interval-distance ratio, charge capacity redundancy and charging power redundancy are put forward in this paper. The case shows that planning method is adaptive.The development of V2G technology have greater impact on the charging infrastructure to the grid, this paper describe the V2G technology and different plans for charging infrastructure to the grid, simultaneously, describe the advantages and disadvantages of every plans.This paper study the intelligent response when the charging infrastructure access to the grid, as the big electricity equipments of the grid, charging infrastructure change the changing power when the frequency mutations, made the system recover steady-state quickly. Simulation analysis shows that it is much faster than the system adjust the frequency itself. So it is actively for the charging infrastructures participate in the intelligent response.
