Along with the computer the popularization of science and technology application, many industries have realized the automation management In the electric power industry, the main application is visualized computer graphics technology application. Visible graphic techniques have depends on it provides a visual image of the information. So by the power system users and power system software developers, become the favour of various analysis and calculation software research hot spot.This paper firstly introduces the visual graphics techniques background and the status quo. Research now power system graphical software faults, on this basis, analysis of software structure. This paper introduces the graphical power system simulation software is a based on MFC development multi-document multi-function applications, it is the object-oriented design ideas of development. According to program function, software has six state, is divided into: viewing conditions, drawing state, the trend of status, fault state, setting state and data management state, covers most important network topology procedures, flow calculation program, fault calculation procedures and relay protection setting calculation, and data management, etc. Additionally this from the practical angle, graphic platform using the graph and data separation design ideas, enables multiple application software is able to share graphics resources. At last, the paper introduces the object-oriented power system graphic design of structure and method, is proposed based on connection point and stratification search combination of network topology new methods, and the key introduction based on object-oriented technology of topology model, based on this model are discussed in detail the breadth first algorithm in factory standing analysis, electrical islands application of analysis.
