Total Green Construction Management Research

With the increasing scarcity of resources and environmental deterioration, the construction industry, which consumes many resources and causes much environmental pollution, has become a big focus of attention. However, in the whole chain of the construction industry, construction phase's impact on resources consumption and the environment is not only most direct but also the most obvious. To achieve sustainable development in construction industry, China proposed "green construction" as a direction of future development, it also become the inevitable demand of construction projects and construction industry development trend.In this paper, "Total" concept, which is from Total Quality Management and Total Cost Management, is introduced to green construction, in order to achieve total green construction management. Firstly, an accurate understanding of the meaning of green construction and green-construction-related policies and regulations is necessary, and then Cyclic Economy, Sustainable Development, Total Quality Management, Total Cost Management and other related theories are comprehensively described. On this basis, "total green construction management" concept is defined and the idea of the theory is initially proposed. Secondly, in order to play a guiding role in the implementation of total green construction management, the paper discusses total green construction management from four aspects in detail, including the whole-organization green construction management, the whole-process green construction management, the whole-element green construction management and the whole-risk green construction management. Finally, a green construction instance in Tianjin City is given and its implementation of the project is described specifically. And then the existing problems about the green construction project are analyzed and commented, then the paper puts forward some proposals to promote green construction in China.The total green construction management, established in this paper, is designed to promote the green process of construction projects, reduce the waste of resources and reduce the impact on the environment. It has much important reference value for promoting green construction and has certain significance for the realization of Sustainable Development of the construction industry.
