In the traditional product design, ergonomic analysis and evaluation is usually carried on after the product design completes. If the ergonomic analysis discovers that the product does not conform to person's physiological and psychological characteristics in use, we need to redesign, and then carry on the ergonomic evaluation, so the recycle until the product satisfies the requirements. This not only extends the design cycle, but also expends resources. In order to consider the ergonomic factor in the initial period of product design as soon as possible, quickly generate the product satisfied person's physiological and psychological demands, establish the harmonious relationship between people and product design, this paper put forward based on the human body posture drive product design method. Namely using computer-aided ergonomic design techniques, according to the job category to determine the operating posture, and then taking the corresponding working space as the constraint conditions of product design, quickly generated the product accord with ergonomic performance requirements.On the basis of the ergonomic basic theory of working space, human body comfortable working posture and human body size data, obtained from the working posture determined by job category as well as the reach area, established the user human body upper limb mathematical model, calculated the upper limb working space. In order to satisfy the different stature people can comfortable operation, calculated the adjustment quantity which the operator's chair needed in sitting posture, as well as the height adjustment quantity which the small operator needed to mat high under the feet. On the basis of analyzing the relevance between working space size and product dimensions, and considering the adjustment quantity which in order to meet different stature people operated comfortably, established the relationship between the large and small operator's working space data with the key sizes of product grass model. Based on the CATIA platform, took VB as the redevelopment tool, this paper has developed the human body posture drive product design system, suited to product design which operated nearby body, and realized that through the choice different manikin model to generate product grass model conformed to ergonomic performance requirements automatically. In view of the layout problem of display and manipulator in working space, on the research of genetic algorithm and layout design, the human-machine interface intelligent layout optimization design method was proposed. Simplified the human-machine interface layout problem, combined the human-machine interface layout principles, established the human-machine interface layout optimization mathematical model, and then optimized layout solutions by using genetic algorithm. With VB as the redevelopment tool, this paper has developed the intelligent layout optimization design subsystem, which solved the large-scale manipulator layout problem, avoided the insufficiency brought by subjective judgment, and realized the fast and scientifically human-machine interface layout optimization.Finally, based on the scientific research topic participated in during school, took the oil rig driller console design as demonstration, established the human working space in sitting posture, completed the driller console grass fast, and carried on the optimization to manipulator at the right hand region of driller console. Contrasted the design proposal which achieved by this system with the research findings of scientific research item, analysis showed that, the human body posture drive product design system could quickly generate product grass model, realized that the human was taken as the core factor of product design, simultaneously carried on the ergonomic design in the process of product design, so the product conformed to people's physiological and psychological characteristics; Secondly, the intelligent layout optimization design subsystem which based on the genetic algorithm, could quickly solve the layout problem of manipulator on the product which operated nearby body. This article proposed the design method and the corresponding system, which improved the design efficiency greatly, shortened the time of new product development, made the product more user-friendly and more competitive.
