In recent years, the pace of development of China's automobile industry,automobile production increased year by year, some key components of domestic carrepair rate of failure are also increasing. Clutch is a major component of automotivepower train, its main role is to transfer the engine torque to the gearbox, and to ensurea car smooth start, easy to shift and to prevent transmission overload. As the harshconditions of use of the clutch, domestic clutch have a relatively high failure rate,higher failure rates directly affect production costs and customers satisfaction.Therefore, the clutch failure analysis and experimental research have a greatsignificance.Two aspects of the dynamics and bench to study the clutch failure on this paper.Through dynamic analysis of some key components of the clutch, the automotivediaphragm spring parameters on the impact of clutch structure rationality is studied.For two clutches, research diaphragm spring lever in different ratio, working pressureand small end load with the variation of the thickness of the diaphragm spring and theleverage ratios in the most appropriate thickness of the diaphragm spring. The resultsshow that change the ratio of S clutch lever does not significantly improve theoperating point of the clutch pressure, maximum separation force reduces with theleverage ratio, changes were not evident. But when the clutch pressure range climbedto 2.1, with the leverage ratio increases, the small end of the deformation increases,clutch Separation performance deteriorated.On this basis, research SGMW clutch fault parts, statistics and analysis a variety ofthe phenomenon of clutch failure.
