With the development of modern power system intelligent degree rise, the substation automation is increasingly high demand. In Jiangxi power grid, many early construction of conventional substation comprehensive automation reform will be carried out. This paper is mainly on the Doumen 220kV substation integrated automation reconstruction project process analysis, the research results to other conventional substation comprehensive automation reformation provides design and transform experience, provide a useful reference for design personnel. This paper mainly has the following several aspects:(1) Through the main transformer,circuit breaker such as primary equipment selection and configuration optimization design, the transformation of primary equipment upgrades to conduct a detailed analysis and summary.(2)Through substation relay protection and automatic device such as design and installation of secondary equipment selection, configuration design, the transformation process of the second equipment retrofit modification and debugging check carried out a detailed analysis and summary.(3) The structural form of the substation automation system is reasonable layout, the integrated automation system installation and debugging calibration are analyzed and summarized, finally in the comprehensive automation reformation process encountered some problems are the focus of analysis, proposed method to solve the question.
