Research On The Time Value Of Travel Behavior Based On The Guidance Information

With the development of social economic , urban transport infrastructure increasing intensely, the guiding role of traffic information has become more evident, people with the travel requirements has not only satisfied with accessibility, the travel efficiency and quality are more and more into account. At present, there are serious traffic congestion in most Chinese major cities, the travel demand has become more purposeful. The shortest travel time and the least travel costs become a primary concern when traveling.In this thesis, the research of the behavior VOT during the travel route choice is given. In the same time the National statistical information of the status and the possibility of modeling are fully studied,the guidance function of the road traffic information is considered in order to make a better research with the method of VOT in reality. Then, according to the basic principles of transport economics, we set the reasonable assumptions, establish the behavior VOT model based on the VMS guidance through a certain mathematical theory.In this thesis, many past research contents and the achievements are effectively integrated combines with multi-discipline, that not only enriched the Time Value theory in transportation field, but also provides some reference to the urban traffic information system for the improvement and road pricing policy formulation.
