Research Of Intelligent Box-type Substation Based On GPRS Communication

With the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization.the power supply quality and reliability requirements are higher in power system. Our country has carried on deep research to extra high voltage transmission and intelligent power grid, but the box-type substation has:less investment, short construcion time, the land for less, deep load center in power distribution network. In order to improve the quality and reliability in power supply, we using the intelligent box-type substation that combination of relay protection system, measurement system, control system etc. It can improve level of automation and safe operation and realize unattended box-type substation, the social economic benefit is very obvious.The paper mainly study the intelligent box-type substation based on GPRS communication. The intelligent system is based on the idea of module. It is consis of main-control module, measurement module, switch control module.wireless communication module etc. It using the DSP as the controller chip to monitoring and control parameters of electrical and non-electrical in the box-type substation. Intelligent system is based on embedded TMS320LF2407 as a core for computing. Through the hardware filtering and synchronous sampling, the system can collect three-phase voltage and current on the real-time, then computes the parameters based on the analysis of arithmetics; the switch control module gather and control switch state through relay in the box-type substation, the reactive power compensation device switching; the box-type substation communicate monitoring by the MG323 wireless communication.The paper design hardware and software of the intelligent box-type substation based on GPRS communication, realizing the box-type substation "four remote"(remote metering, remote signalling, remote adjustment, remote control function, it is an excellent improvement to the current ordinay box-type substation.
