With yellow-double Kalanchoe blossfeldiana as materials, we conducted research on the effects of several factors on hydroponic culture of K. blossfeldiana, that is, flower fertilizers ('Huaduoduo'flower fertilizer, hydroponic nutrients for flowers-fish co-culture), concentrations of flower fertilizers (0.5‰,1‰,2‰), different changing time for liquid (15d,30d), fungicides (detection with sterilization concentration of 10mg·L-1)). Water-culture without fertilizers and soil-culture were used as control groups. Adopting 2×3×2×2 completely random experiment,29 treatments in all, each with 3 strains and three times repeat, we aimed to make the Kalanchoe blossfeldiana as a member of hydroponic culture flower and satisfy the needs of the community by screening out an easy and applicable hydroponic culture method. Based on determinations of 16 indexes, the main conclusions were as follows.(1) K. blossfeldiana could grow normally by hydroponic culture of all 28 treatments, and almost flowered, exept treatment 25 and 13, which indicated that K. blossfeldiana was suitable as a member of water-cultivated flower.(2) K. blossfeldiana grew better in'Huaduoduo'flower fertilizer, with the shortening time for flowering, the increasing flowes, the largest content of Chla, Chlb, Chla+b, the water content of leaf and Proline as well as the smallest content of MDA, which indicated that'Huaduoduo'flower fertilizer was the most beneficial for the over-ground part growth of K.blossfeldiana, improved the flower, photosynthesis, metabolic activities, and enhanced the resistances ability.(3) The growth vigor of over-ground part, the flowers, the content of Chla, Chlb, Chla+b all increased as the concentration of flower fertilizer increased from 0.5‰, 1‰to 2‰. We concluded that increasing the concentration of flower fertilizer within a certain range could improve the growth of the over-ground part and flowering of K. blossfeldiana.(4) Water-culture with different changing time for liquid,15d and 30d, the growth vigor of over-ground part, the flowers, were superior to soil-culture, and 15d'was best. We concluded that shorting changing time for liquid was better for K. blossfeldiana growth, extend changing time for liquid can save flower fertilizers, water, and time.(5) The root and over-ground part of K.blossfeldiana. With fungicides (detection with sterilization concentration of 10mg·L-1) grew worse, which indicated that detection was detrimental for hydroponic culture of K. blossfeldiana, restraining the root elongation and the growth of over-ground part. On the contrary, without fungicides the root and over-ground part of K. blossfeldiana. Could grow normally as well as flowered normally, therefore the hydroponic culture of K. blossfeldiana shouldn't add the fungicides.(6) The effect of different treatments on the growth of K. blossfeldiana had a significant difference. Treatment 1 (0.5%o flower fertilizer without fungicides,15d per liquid change) was the best combination for hydroponic culture of K. blossfeldiana., with the best comprehensive performance such as better root growth, larger flowers, larger content of Chla, Chlb, Chla+b, Chla/b than that in soil-culture and economic usage of flower fertilizer. In treatment 3 (2%o flower fertilizer without fungicides,15d per liquid change) the over-ground part of K. blossfeldiana grew the best, which was appropriate for the hydroponic culture of foliage ornamental K.blossfeldiana.Treatment 15 (0.5%o flower fertilizer without fungicides,30d per liquid change) was suitable for the family hydroponic culture of K. blossfeldiana. With the advantage of promoting flowering, larger flower quantity than that of soil-culture, thus reducing flower fertilizer consumption, shortening culture period and facilitating management.
