Using comparison experiment design and rariance analysis, multiple comparisons and principal component analysis methods, studies on effect of different media and container on growth and physiological parameters of Ligustrum Lucidum Ait container seedlings, the results are as follows:1. Different media had a significant effect to growth and physiological parameters of Ligustrum Lucidum seedlings growing in non-woven container,the growth of the seedlings in media P2﹑P5 and P6 were significantly better than that in the other media.However,the growth of the seedlings in media P1﹑P3and P4 were significantly lower than the control CK.The Chlorophyll content and photosynthetic rete of the contsiner seedlings in media P2 and P5 were significantly higher than in the other ones ,while the relative electrical conductivity and CAT activity of the container seedlings in media P2 were the lowest,and the POD activity of the container seedlings in media P5 were significantly lower than the other ones.Comprehensive growth and physiological indicators and principal component analysis that media P5 V(peat):V(vermiculite):V(pearlite)=1:1:1 was berrer light-medium than the other ones as the container nursery of Ligustrum Lucidum seedling.2.Different media had a significant effect to seedling height, ground diameter,crown,shoot growth,leaf area and Chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rete, relative electrical conductivity, POD activity, CAT activity of Ligustrum Lucidum seedlings growing in plastic container,growth and physiological effects from a comprehensive analysis of results showed that V(peat):V(vermiculite)=1:1, V(peat):V(vermiculite):V(pearlite)=1:1:1 growth of Ligustrum Lucidum seedlings was better,and indexes such as seedling height,ground diameter and other growth indexes, Chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rete etc were higher than other fomula.With a score by principal component analysis V(peat):V(vermiculite):V(pearlite)=1:1:1 was the highest score and was the best use of matrix formula and can be extended. 3. By comparision non-woven container and plastic container, non-woven container was the best and significant differences.Each growth indexes seedling height,ground diameter,crown,shoot growth, leaf area of seedling in which was higher 5.7%,19.3%,21.3%,3.4%,16.4% than seedling in plastic container.The Chlorophyll content of the non-woven container seedlings was higher than plastic container seedlings,while the relative electrical conductivity, POD activity, CAT activity were lower than plastic container seedlings,little difference of the photosynthetic rete between the two container seedlings.Comprehensive Growth and Physiological indicators, non-woven container is the best.
