Shaanxi is one of the important producing areas of table-grapes in China. The maincultivation mode of table-grape cultured is in the open and the main varieties cultured inShaanxi province concludes Kyoho, Hutaibahao and Red globe. Along with the marketdemand is higher and higher, problems such as single variety of grape and serious diseasehave begun to impeded the long-term development of table-grape in Shaanxi. In this study,thirteen different grape varieties, including Hutaibahao, Yatomi Rosa, Yellow Rose, Italia,Aogusite, Victoria, Zana, Jingyu, Wuhe8611, Wuhe8612, Christmas Rose, Himrod Seedlessand Jumeigui, were used to research the modes of cultivation: open culture, shelter andgreenhouse inside the Grape Seeding and Breeding Base in Yangling of Shaanxi provincefrom February to November in2011. This test aims to compare economic characteristics oftable-grape in three different cultivation modes and provide the theory basis and reference forscreening the excellent breeds introduction and highly efficient production mode.The result shows that:(1)Good resistance varieties such as Himrod Seedless and Yellow Rose could promotecultured in pluvial region in Shaanxi province. Italia, Christmas Rose and other varietieswhich have poor resistance should cultured in the sheltered ground.(2)The qualities of tested grape varieties did not improved in the condition of rain shelter.Yatomi Rosa, Italia and Christmas Rose are appropriate for cultured in the shelter. And thevarieties suitable for cultured in the open cultivation mode concludes Himrod Seedless andYellow Rose.(3)Greenhouse cultivation could accelerated the mature period of Hutaibahao by50d orso and improved the economic benefits. The performance of Hutaibahao, Jingyu, Aogusiteand Victoria were much better than any other tested varieties cultivated in greenhouse.(4)There is no significant effect to upgrade the quality of grapes cultivated in greenhouseby bagging.Conclusion: New grape varieties introduction not only need to survey the growth andbearing habit, fruit quality and disease resistance, but also need to looking for the suitable cultivation mode for different varieties. Thus, more economic benefits could be got by thisway.
