| Endometriosis means that the endometrium with growing function appears outside the uterus. The incidence among women of childbearing age is 10%-15% and has a tendency to rise. With complex pathogenesis, extensive lesions, extreme invasion, easy to recur, and tumor-like trait recently proposed, endometriosis has not only seriously damaged the health of young and middle-aged women, but also affect their quality of life. So quality of life of the patients suffering endometriosis should not be neglected.Objective:To observe the quality of life of kidney-deficiency and blood-stasis endometriosis after conservative surgery and the effect of different assisted treatments on the quality of life of endometriosis.Methods:Evaluation of WHOQOL-BREF scale of 50 examples of health people and 82 examples of endometriosis after conservative surgery, and divided endometriosis patients into blank group, Chinese medicine group, and western medicine group according to different assisted treatments after surgery. Evaluate the quality of life between the healthy people and patients, analyze changes of quality of life before and after treatment, and compare the quality of life of three groups after assisted treatments after conservative surgery.Results:1. Quality of life between healthy people and endometriosis patients The two groups overall evaluation of quality of life, over all assessment of health status, physical field, psychological field, environmental field, the total scores of all areas, and self-evaluation difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05), but the field of social relations difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)2. Evaluation of quality of life after course of 3 months: Chinese medicine group before and after treatment overall evaluation of quality of life, over all assessment of health status, physical field, and self-evaluation difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), with psychological field, the field of social relations and environment, the total scores of all areas difference showing no statistically significance (P>0.05). Western medicine group before and after treatment overall evaluation of quality of life was statistically significant(P<0.05), with other areas was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Blank group after 3 months self-evaluation was statistically significant (P<0.05), with other areas was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The Chinese medicine group and western medicine group of all aspects of quality of life showed no significant difference (P>0.05) after 3 months of treatment. Overall evaluation of quality of life, over all assessment of health status, physical field, and self-evaluation difference had statistically significant (P<0.05), but psychological field, the field of social relations and environment, and the total scores of all areas showed no significant difference (P>0.05) between Chinese group and blank group after 3 months..Western medicine group and blank group overall evaluation of quality of life and self-evaluation was statistically significant (P<0.05), with other areas no significant difference (P>0.05)3. Evaluation of quality of life after course of 6 months: Chinese medicine group before and after treatment overall evaluation of quality of life, over all assessment of health status, and psychological field difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), with physical field, the field of social relations and environment, the total scores of all areas and self-evaluation difference showing no statistically significance (P>0.05). Western medicine group before and after treatment all aspects of quality of life was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The Chinese medicine group and western medicine group of all aspects of quality of life showed no significant difference (P>0.05) after 6 months of treatment.Conclusion:Surgery gives endometriosis patients a better quality of life. Chinese medicine treatment can improve overall evaluation of quality of life, overall assessment of health status, physical field, psychological field and self-evaluation of kidney-deficiency and blood-stasis endometriosis patients. After 3 courses of Chinese medicine treatment, the scores of overall evaluation of quality of life, overall assessment of health status, physical field, and self-evaluation are all better than blank group. Chinese medicine-assist therapy after surgery can enhance the quality of life of endometriosis patients effectively. |
