| Objective:To discuss the prevention methods for side effects induced by GnRH-a treatment after surgery in endometriosis patients, and to investigate the action of reinforcing kidney and eliminating blood stasis for kidney deficiency and blood stasis.Methods:60 endometriosis patients were treated by laparoscopic surgery and then received the GnRH-a, which from gynecology ward of Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital between January 2014 and June 2015. Patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group had 30 cases. Both of groups were taken GnRH-a after the first day of the menstruation every menstrual cycle for 3 times. The treatment group treated by methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which has function to reinforcing kidney and eliminating blood stasis. The Chinese herbs were taken by oral 21 days from the first day of the menstruation, and 3 menstrual cycle. At the same time, the control group was treated by placebo. Observed cases of the side effects of the treatment, Kupperman score, the changes of estradiol at the end of each course of treatment,6 months follow-up, the changes of serum CA125, recurrence rate, menstrual pain degree.Results:Cases of side effects and Kupperman scoring were no significant difference between both groups in the first period of treatment (P>0.05). Cases of side effects were no significant difference between both groups in the first period of treatment (P>0.05), while Kupperman scoring in the treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.01) in the second period of treatment. The cases of symptom such as hot flashes, sweat out, paresthesia, anxious and joint pain were significantly lower than control group (P<0.05), and Kupperman scores also significant difference (P<0.05) in the third period of treatment, but the cases of other symptoms have no significant difference between two groups (/*>0.05).In addition, estradiol levels decreased significantly in the patients treated by GnRH-a, and estradiol levels increased in the treatment group after treated by reinforcing kidney and eliminating blood stasis (P<0.01), serum CA125 levels in the body also is lower than the control group (P<0.0\). It also found that chronic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, the recurrence rate in the treatment group is lower th;n the control group after 6 months (P<0.05), but painful nodules and ultrasound found in ovarian chocolate cyst has no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Although GnRH-a significantly reduce the recurrence of endometriosis after surgery, it bring side action. The TCM which reinforcing kidney and eliminating blood stasis has function to inhibit side effects induced by GnRH-a, alleviate the decreasing trend of estradiol, reduce serum CA125 levels, reduce chronic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea and reduce the recurrence rate of menstrual pain and so on. |
