Vocational School Students' Self-esteem, Parenting Styles And Subjective Happiness Relationship

In this study, as the research committed to exploring the relationship of vocational school students'self-esteem, parenting and subjective well-being. This research used the self-Esteem Scale(SES), the s-EMBU which revised by Jiang jiang. Xu yan and other two scholars, and Domestic Duan Jianhua revises US state-run health statistics center formulation overall happy heart meter (GWB). On investigation and analysis of vocational school students. The results showed that:(1)The self-esteem and the overall level of subject well-being of vocational school students are centered, there is no significant difference of gender. Vocational school students in different grade levels in self-esteem are significantly different.(2)Self-esteem and subjective well-being show a significant positive correlation, and different levels of self-esteem (high self-esteem and low self-esteem) on the individual subjective well-being are significantly different.(3)Parenting style of different dimensions on the self-esteem and subject well-being have different effects, the parental Emotional warmth shows a significant positive correlation to:self-esteem and subject well-being. Well, the dimension of Parents refused and over-protection make a significant negative correlation with self-esteem and subjective well-being.(4) The parental Emotional warmth dimension has the forward forecast function to the self-respect and the subjective well-being. Father overprotection on subject well-being have some negative forecast. The mother refused and over-protection have a negative predivtors to subject well-being. In addition, the mother over-protection could predict negatively to self-esteem, the father refused to have a certain negatively predicted to self-esteem. The regression of Self-esteem and parenting styles on the subjective well-being,only the self-esteem of a predictor of SWB.
