Yan Yu is a famous critic of poetics in Southern Song Dynasty. Ts'ang-Lang's Remarks on Poetry makes his position in the history of Chinese poetry. Mr. Li Zehou thinks it can be taken as the three aesthetic masterpieces with the Music and The Literary Mind:Elaborations during the whole Chinese feudal period. Researchers have never stopped their concern about it since its birth. Its presence is almost everywhere during the second half of Chinese feudal period. Its impact exists along with its acceptance. This paper takes the Qing Dynasty poetry as a specific historical background, grinding its impact on the Qing Dynasty poetics from the poetry text. Its poetry notion lies mainly in the Poetry Identify. Throughout the whole book, his poetics mainly lies in miraculous awakening, inspired feeling, a separate kind of talent and a separate kind of meaning. Miraculous awakening is the deep connection between Poetry and Buddhism and anaiyzing poetics metaphorically with Zen is the feature of Yan Yu's poetry. He is not an inaugurator in this field, but his contribution to it is great. Inspired feeling is what the poets of the High Tang relied only on, and it is also one of the reasons why Yan Yu pays tribute to the poems of High Tang. A separate kind of talent and a separate kind of meaning is directed against taking talent, discussion and argumentation as poetry. Miraculous awakening and inspired feeling can be seen as what a separate kind of talent and a separate kind of meaning is. Advocating Tang and belittling Song are the general characteristics of his poetry, which raises long-term dispute of Tang and Song poetry. In addition, Yan Yu inspired that Tang poetry was divided into four periods, which was drawn to the conclusion by Gao Bing later. In terms of the above three aspects, despite of Yan Yu's specific task of poetics---to save the Song Dynasty poetry, his theory is undoubtedly related to the universal significance of poetic theory---what is poetry and how to write poetry. What choice should be made between Miraculous awakening and Competency, Temperament and Reasoning? The issue that poetry expresses ambition and poetry traces emotions cross-integrate into people's horizon. From an artistic point of view, Yan Yu did not offer the perfect solution to this trouble of poetry, which left a great poetry question to the future generations to think about. The poetics in the Qing dynasty is a summary of classical Chinese poetics. There are varieties of critical materials and different poetics items are explored. So the poetics in the Qing dynasty has promoted traditional poetics in inheritance and summary. Because of the reflection of poetics, Ts'ang-Lang's Remarks on Poetry has come into the view of Qing poetics field. And the reflection has driven a great many propositions of Ts'ang-Lang's Remarks on Poetry to be permanent power in construction of the Qing Dynasty poetics. This has sparked unflagging reviews on the Tang and Song poems. On the one hand, as the previous generation resources, "Tang and Song" must enter the vision of later poetic critics; on the other hand, advocating Tang and belittling Song sparked the long-term exploration and debate. The main feature of the Qing Dynasty poetics is getting closer to Song and keeping away from Tang, but the force of advocating Tang Dynasty is still powerful. In addition, there were proposals just like being above or juggling Tang and Song Dynasty. Because of the complicated attitude to poems in Tang and Song, the questions about Tang and Song poems that cradled from Yan Yu can not be so easy. What's more, there is still a more specific topic---the division of four-Tang. In the Qing's point of view, the division of four-Tang is pointless. They criticized this topic from different angles, but in the criticism they had to use and be subjected to it. This is one of the impacts affecting the Qing Dynasty poetics. Secondly, there are a large number of analyzing entries about poetry and ch'anism. The relationship between poetry and ch'anism together with miraculous awakening are the integral part of Yan Yu's poetic achievement. Although there were many criticisms about Daolism of Chang in Qing Dynasty, even taking Yan Yu's lack of ch'anism as the argument, the critics in Qing Dynasty were full of ch'anism in practice. Their theory and practice are not entirely consistent. Thirdly, criticism about "a separate kind of talent and a separate kind of meaning" of Yan Yu has achieved the most attention. It is about whether poem is in disposition or theory. Although Yan Yu did not give a clear definition of the poem, it has been no longer important whether definition is there or not. The most important thing is he triggered a thought about the poem. In the argumentation about "a separate kind of talent and a separate kind of meaning", we can see that Qing poetry has features of neutralization and valuing real learning. Charm, style, spirituality and science in Qing poetics are not entirely conflicting, so Wang Shizhen who advocated charm and Yuan Mei who advocated spirituality did not decisively abandon the position of scholarship. This article selects fields of the Tang and Song poetry, poetry and ch'anism, poetry and spirituality, poetry and science to see the influence of Ts'ang-Lang's Remarks on Poetry on the poetry of the Qing Dynasty and thus studies the features of Qing poetry. In the poetry of Qing Dynasty, Ts'ang-Lang's Remarks on Poetry has occupied an important position, the reason of which is that it has originated from invocation of different values, that is its intrinsic value together with the value of times requirement. In this role, the Qing Dynasty poem critics have made great progress on the thought of text, regardless of excavating the covered value of Ts'ang-Lang's Remarks on Poetry from positive side, or subversively assuming the value from a suspicious perspective.
