Based on the previous researches, we suppose that the negative use of "what" mainly contains three types:"bie V,bu yao V","bu V,mei NP","bu shi,bu suan,bu jiao+O", the third of which whose main form is "S+Vj+shen me+O". This form is in accordance with characteristics of construction. The present paper makes a deep research into "S+Vj+shen me+O" from different perspectives. Firstly, we investigate the characteristics to analyze its causes and meanings, that is in the speaker's eyes, the subject argument is not equal or similar to the object argument; then we summarize three different forms ("(S) +Vj+shenme+O","S+Vj (suan)+shenme","shenme+O")of this construction in order to determine that they hold the same meanings, differences in forms is only the result of flexible usages. Then, we analyze the relations between arguments. Pronouns, nouns, noun phrases can be used as subject argument S and sometimes there is no S; predicates Vj should include"shi, suan, jiao";"shen me"and"O"in arguments"shen me+O"are modified by each other in objective. The relationships between subjective argument S and objective argument O are mainly equivalent and generic. At last, we analyze the construction meanings of"S+Vj+shen me+O"in given situations. We firmly hold that the usage of constructions should be based on those language items associated with them, with which the construction forms different relationships. The main forms that semantic association relationships created by the items of the construction are the comparing effect between subject argument and object argument, the extra meaning of predictive and the role of tone; while the main forms that the semantic association created by the context and construction are the semantic association is the hypothesis of the construction, comparison between them and semantic association explains the construction. All these associated items provide a proper situation for constructions to make their expression more suitable.
