The present paper attempts to make a study on the differences of subjects of both Chinese and English. Under the guidance of functional equivalence theories and using many examples in translation practice, it aims to explore the proper subject translation strategies in translating advertising textbooks, which will do well for us to further study and master translation skills of Chinese and English subjects.
