As an important linguistic phenomenon, negation plays an important role in any language. In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, negative words are often the key and difficult points for students to acquire negative sentences. Therefore, this paper is devoted to the comparison of grammatical and semantic features between English and Chinese negatives,in order to provide an intuitive reference for English native speakers to acquire Chinese negatives. As the three most frequently used negatives in modern Chinese,"bu","meiyou" and"bie",they are different in meaning and related. From the perspective of ontology, this paper explores the differences and connections between the three in terms of semantics and grammatical features. On the basis of previous studies, this paper divides the semantics of"comfort" from the semantics of "dissuasion" of the word "bie" and proves the rationality of their existence through the experiment of logical stress. Then comparing "bu","meiyou"and "bie" with the commonly used negative words "no" and "not",this paper proposed that"bu","meiyou","bie","now and "not" can be used with verbs;"meiyou","no,","not" can be used with nouns;"bu","meiyou","bie","no","not" can be used with adjectives, and"bie" can not be used with adjectives.Through some questionnaires survey, the errors of using "bu","meiyou","bie" by Chinese learners whose mother language are english are analyzed, and higher errors are summarized, such as misused of "bu" and "meiyou","bu"and "bie","meiyou" and "bu".The causes of errors are analyzed, and corresponding teaching strategies are put forward.
