As the rapid development of economic integration, political multi-polarization and cultural diversification, countries all over the world are deeply intertweined with each other in terms of economic, politic and culture. Language, as one of the most important communication tools and national characteristics, became a focus issue. Then bilingual education became a widely studied subject in the world. Lots of bilingual countries even monolingual countries did bilingual experiments and had great achievements. Australia is a great example of monolingual countries who are successful in bilingual education. "Mongolian - Chinese -English" bilingual education is the distinguished feature and focus issue of mongolian education, it's a special form of minority bilingual education of China. Mongolian bilingual education is the direct reflection and influence of the quality of mongolian or even Chinese national education. It's an indispensable way for Mongolian to internationalization and modernization.Bilingual education is superior to monolingual education, in terms of cognitive development, social development and mental development. Bilingual education study is not only important, but also feasible, no matter in terms of international backgrounds, implementation effects of Australian Bilingual Education, necessity of Mongolian bilingual education or cognitive development. Present researches of Australian Bilingual Education are limited. There are lots of similarities between Australian bilingual education and mongolian bilingual education. Australian bilingual education's experience and lessons can provide mongolian bilingual educators some enlightenments.In Australian, Bilingual Education means education which using and promoting two languages and education for language minority students. Generally speaking, bilingual education means education which using two languages at school. Australian Bilingual Education here is defined as part subjects'teaching in second language or foreign language at school. Mongolian Bilingual Education is defined as "Mongolian- Chinese-English" language education in Inner Mongolian minority primary schools and middle schools. It's evolved from "Mongolian-Chinese" bilingual education. It's a specific form of bilingual education, and reflection of Chinese ethnic education characteristic.In part one, introduction was given. In part two, theoretical bases are explained.In part three, the historical evolution, current situation, characteristics and problems of Australian Bilingual Education are stated. In part four, the historical evolution, current situation, characteristics and problems of Mongolian Bilingual Education are stated. In part five, the inspirations of Australian Bilingual Education for Mongolian Bilingual Education are summarized. In part six, it's the conclusion of whole writing.
