Based on my seven years work experience and thoughts in CCNU (Central China Normal University), and the one-year study in Roman music college, Italy, I feel deeply that it has large development space in college teaching about the Western Wind Instrument, meanwhile, the level of orchestral music performance could be better. So I start to study the project. It can be divided into four chapters:Chapter One:"The existing condition of the western wind instrument teaching in normal university" mainly analysis "the status quo since the founding of the education reform "and "the status quo of CCNU".I also do the historical review and the current introduction to three aspects, "the develop history of normal university musical teaching", "the system of normal university musical teaching", and "the western wind instrument teaching mode in conservatory of music in CCNU. "Chapter Two:"The analysis about normal university music teaching mode". First of all, I make the conceptual analysis of normal university western wind instruction teaching mode about definition, kind and basic structure. Then, I did the investigation in six normal universitys concerning the related issues of normal university western wind teaching mode. Those investigate data statistics made the analysis be more objective.Chapter Three:"The requirement of social development to optimize the normal university western wind instruction teaching mode". I am in the view of social highly development to scope the current situation of normal university western wind instrument teaching and the requirement of western wind instrument talents. On the side, I assess the teaching process in the development of social and teaching situation. We can see the needs in students'quality-oriented education and promotion of students'employment strength during the translation period from the Planning Education to the Market Education. Hence, we need to build the new type of talents training patterns in normal university western wind instruction—it means toleration and innovation in mind, and leaning the positive teaching experiences from the Roman Music College and Shanghai Music College.Chapter Four:"Conceive of optimize the normal university western wind instrument teaching". It based on the study of the status quo and social requirements. And it also connected to the teaching experiences at home and abroad. This chapter defined the much designed can at first, then analysis the feasibility. Afterward, we can in the guidance of the idea to optimize the existing teaching mode. Finally, in the innovations of teaching ecological chain building, we can make the upgrading and structural optimization of the whole normal university western wind teaching mode.The thesis used the methods of document literature, expert interview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. It settled the development of western wind instrument at home and abroad, and made the objective judgment about normal university western teaching status quo. It also infused some knowledge about Education and Communication in the optimizing process of normal university western wind instrument teaching mode. All these made the thesis be more scientific. Because of the late start of normal university western wind instrument teaching, the study has positive effects in promoting the highly development of normal university western wind instrument teaching, and it be good for varies of required talents training.
