The Influence Of Forgiveness And Communication Skills Of Junior High School Students On Cooperation And Intervention

In today's society, cooperation as an important Prosocial behavior, has been highly concerned about by various fields. To cultivate students' awareness of cooperation is becoming more and more important. Existing research shows that junior middle school stage is an important period for developing cooperation consciousness.This research is trying to discuss the characteristics of cooperation in junior middle school students, investigate the relationship among forgiveness,communication and cooperation.On the basis of previous studies,group counseling plan are designed and applied,and its effectiveness was tested.This research includes two studies:Research 1: Cooperative Tendency Rating Scale, Healand Forgiveness scale,Supportive Communication Scale were administered to 236 which are come from a middle school in Suzhou.Then analyzed the relationship among cooperation,forgiveness and interpersonal communication ability.Research 2: Based on the previous study,group counseling plan were designed and conducted on 24 students chosen from 236 students that for enhance the cooperation tendency.The main conclusions are listed as follows:(1) for junior middle school students,their interpersonal communication ability,forgiveness and the cooperate tendency are in overall level.There are not distinguished gender differences among the three. Class cadres performed better on forgiveness and tolerance than other students.And foreign students performed better on reciprocity than local students.(2) There is a significant positive correlation between forgiveness and the tendency of cooperation in junior middle school students,and forgiveness can positively predict the tendency of cooperation.(3) The interpersonal communication ability of junior middle school students has significant positive correlation with the tendency of cooperation, and can positively predict the tendency of cooperation.(4) There was a significant positive correlation between forgiveness one's own and interpersonal communication ability of junior middle school students, but there was no significant correlation between the forgiveness others and interpersonal communication ability.(5) Group counseling can effectively improve the junior middle school students' cooperative tendency.
