Language, as the carrier of culture, is a special part in culture. The process of teaching language is a way to disseminate culture. Teaching language and teaching culture are complementary and inseparable to each other. Reflection of Chinese traditional culture and Han culture spirit connotation, rhetoric is an important way of art containing culture-specific elements and transmit a unique information of Han culture. Owing to the conflicts caused by the different culture backgrounds on cross-cultural communication, the cultural additional meaning become a key point in the practical application of Chinese language learning for foreigners. This thesis analyze the inevitability of culture infiltration in rhetoric teaching from the national characteristics of rhetoric and cultural elements. The analysis of cultural elements include proverb, special words and the rhetoric material of cultural background. Analyze the relationship of rhetoric and culture by example in terms of the differences between the East and the West. The different cultural background makes Chinese language learners misunderstand rhetoric expression on the cross-cultural communication, in which explains the cultural psychology and value concepts from the aspects of Greeting, Special Term, Image Interpretation and Rhetoric methods. It proposes culture infiltration in rhetoric teaching and gives some advice to help the learner use Chinese language correct and suitable, understand the meaning accurat and thoroughly, appreciate artistic features of Chinese literature better and better, then contribute Han culture broadcast to the world.
