Chinese oral idioms is a particular statements which frequently used in oral communication, it has the characteristics of semantic and flexibility etc., where is student abroad interested in, and also is the key factor and the most difficult part in foreign language vocabulary teaching. Nowadays, academic research in ontology is not enough, it's much few to combined theoretic study with foreign language teaching, so the research needs to be further expanded and deepened.This paper research from the characteristics of oral idioms, in-depth analyses students'miss understanding and incorrect use of oral idioms through a large number of examples in teaching practice. Summarized two types of most familiar error in learning in oral idioms: explicit and implicit. Analyzed the reason of these two types through both subjective and objective sides. This article also put forward five specific and feasible approach on foreign language teaching from the basic principles of Chinese idioms teaching. These are the explanation of context, contrast method, commonly used method, limit method, syntactic function elaborate method, hope these will do help to improve spoken language teaching methods.
