With the continued development of Chinese economy, more and more people in the world are beginning to learn Chinese. However, Chinese as the world’s oldest language, it is not easy to learn it. Idiom is a special form of Chinese language, so it is more difficult for non-Chinese people to study, which is a major problem in the process of Chinese idioms teaching. The report is based on this reality, from the perspective of how to interpret the idiom, to find an easy way to explain it. At the year of 2014, the broadcasting of the large-scale cultural program "Chinese Idioms Conference",which provide a new way to solve the issue of Chinese idioms teaching of TCFL.This paper consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction, which explains the origin of the research, the way of thinking and methods, researching status quo and significance.The second part introduces the program which are called "Chinese Idioms Conference", describing the characteristics and the main tenet of this cultural program, and the social meaning of this program in modern society. The third part is the key point of this article, mainly discusses the interpretation to Chinese idioms teaching which caused by the way of the players explain the idioms in the program. From the following three aspects:1. idiom is the difficult point of TCFL.2.the clever use of interpretation methods.3. the flexible use of teaching skills. The last part is the conclusion, explained the upsurge of idioms learning which caused by the "Chinese Idioms Conference ", attracting more people to know.understand and use the idioms, hoping to raise the people’s attention from this way, stimulating the foreign students’ interests in learning idioms. Then summarizes the innovations and shortcomings of this paper, expects to discuss the specific methods and techniques of teaching idioms with the foreign language teachers to contribute some efforts for TCFL.
