This essay is going to do some deep-going research on the characteristics of Chinese oral idiom in styles, pragmatics meanings, contexts and the categories in structures, symmetries and items. The accuracies of the notes of oral idioms in the textbooks for Chinese teaching as a second language will be examined according to the results of the research. Nine kinds of defects are found in the notes, which lie in the demonstration of pragmatics meanings of the oral idioms, the description of the contexts, the limitation of the collocation and filling the blanks of incomplete oral idioms, the display of different items, the differentiation of oral idioms and non-oral-idioms, the presentation of the individuality of oral idioms, the option of example sentences and the organization of the languages of the notes. All of these defects of the notes will bring more or less negative influence to the students of Chinese as a second language. In order to solve the problems, seven suggestions are presented in the end of the essay for the annotator of oral idioms: paying special attention to the pragmatics meanings of the oral idioms, describing the typical contexts, displaying the limitation of the collocation and the filling of the blanks of incomplete oral idioms, making a clear sort of the different items, presenting the individuality of each oral idiom, making careful options of the example sentences and adopting proper language for the notes.
