With the rapid development of Chinese economy, more and more foreigners for every purpose to learn Chinese. This kind of phenomenon drives the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but also gives its new challenges. Vocabulary teaching is the key of language teaching, and it is also the most important in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Vocabulary is the materials of language building, the degree of studying Chinese depends largely on his mastering vocabulary level. So, how to improve the students' mastering vocabulary level, become TCFL teachers'emphasis in the vocabulary teaching.This paper introduces a kind of vocabulary teaching theory– the Contrastive Analysis Theory, according to introduce the Contrastive Analysis Theory, to improve TCFL vocabulary teaching. This article from the students'problems in vocabulary, and combines with the usual teaching experience, to analyze foreign students'difficulties in vocabulary, and use the Contrastive Analysis to solve these problems. Meanwhile, the Contrastive Analysis Theory also has its shortcomings, the article introduces the other way to assist and improve the Contrastive Analysis Theory, the purpose is to improve the theory's application in vocabulary teaching, and provide some teaching reference.
