Chinese is developing rapidly on economic and cultural aspect since the1990s,people's living environment and living condition have changed strikingly, chinese oil painting also shifted a lot: The political enthusiasm in the art works has disappeared , instead, commercial society brought rich variety of popular image visual presentation. The Chinese contemporary oil painting rendered very distinctiy features of the "cross-border" collectively, The Chinese contemporary oil painting shows the flow and fusion of art phenomenon in different paintings visual field, different subject and the interaction and different media material .This article mainly researches on cross-border space form two aspects of the schema presentation and artistic language,and tidies the producing background, characteristics and cross-border manners.The article also explors the overall space way—"cross-border"in this period by the research methods of analysising ,analoging and concluding,and discusses the malpractices and the measures which should be taken in cross-border space .The expression of the current space for further inquiry from theory has an important effect on the Chinese contemporary oil painting and leads the oil painting to more contemporary, healthy, multiply art development direction.
