The Psychological status of Poverty-stricken students in the colleges and Universities have attracted more and more attention nowadays. More and more research show that some Poverty-stricken students have become self-abasement,sensitivity,jealousness,odd,gloomy. As we know family is a place where the basic emotion of a person can be formed and developed,abnormality of the family structure and weakening of the family functioning are the background of the Psychological status.The research taking the family functioning theory as the research basis, data collection and deep talking are used analyzing the family functioning of the Poverty-stricken college students and its predictors.Below obtains the results:1. significant differences of the cohesion and adaptability are found between the family of Poverty-stricken college students and the family of common college students。2. significant differences of family functioning re found between the family of Poverty-stricken college students and common college students. Mainly is mission accomplished,control mode emotional expression,emotional expression,emotional expression and communication。3. emotional expression,parents'educational background,parents'profession style and structure of the family all influent the Poverty-stricken college students'family functioning.In brief, the Poverty-stricken college students'family functioning has some flaw and attenuation. So we need to pay attention to the Poverty-stricken college students'family functioning in order to promote the Poverty-stricken college students'physical and mental health.
