With the development of China's economy, people are more concerned about howto understand and improve the quality of life. The research on subjective well-beingcontinues to grow. But it is not difficult to find that the research on subjectivewell-being of the secondary vocational school students are seldom seen in domestic byreading the research on subjective well-being. Secondary vocational school students arean important part of student groups, so researching on subjective well-being can help toimprove the quality of learning and life for the secondary vocational school students andto improve the quality of education and teaching and to enrich the research onsubjective well-being.On the basis of previous studies, this article studied on the status of subjectivewell-being, the relationship between self-concept, perfectionism, parental educationalmode and subjective well-being of secondary vocational school students and providedsome empirical support and advice to improve the secondary vocational school students'subjective well-being.This article surveyed1200secondary vocational school students which wereselected randomly, using Tennessee Self-concept Scale, The Chinese MultidimensionalPerfectionism Scale, EMBU and Index of Well-Being and Index of General Affect.Through the research, we found that the score of subjective well-being ofsecondary vocational school students were above the medium degree on the whole, andthe score of self-concept, perfectionism and parental educational mode were the same.By comparing the differences in subjective well-being of secondary vocational schoolstudents with different demographic characteristics, we found that there were significantdifferences in urban or rural areas, only-begotten or not, while there was no significantdifferences in gender. According to correlation analysis, we found that the dimensionsof self-concept, perfectionism and parental educational mode had more or less effectson subjective well-being.Finally, the article provided advices to improve the secondary vocational schoolstudents' subjective well-being:School education must play a leading role in individualdevelopment and we must pay attention to the importance of family education at thesame time.
