In recent years, the research of Chinese science fiction literature is just unfolding, many researchers have proposed the topics of science fiction literature localization, but didn't summarize and research this literature phenomenon more further. Therefore, this paper tries to discuss the localization process of modern Chinese literature science fiction in short, and on this basis, further explore the Chinese New Period Literature of science fiction's localization theory advocates process and actual situation of composition, and summarize the literature phenomenon's achievements and shortcomings, in order to raise awareness, sum up experience, and do something for the future development of Chinese literature of science fiction.This paper is mainly divided into the following sections:the first chapter of this thesis discusses the research background, purpose and significance, and the theory advocates of the new period science fiction literature localization theory, the definition and connotation of the theory.The second chapter is reviews from the perspective of localization of Chinese science fiction and describes a hundred years of development process, describes the science fiction localization process from the initial stage transplanted into China, simple imitation, until the middle stage change into political novel, Science Popularization novel and Children's Fiction; as well as in the new period integrates actively with the traditional and realistic environment, to create the local characteristics of the science fiction literature., discusses the construction and limitations of the procession about the put forwards of localization theory and the creation practice,as well as the introduction of the classical novels written by novelists in accordance with from different focus of the theory--pay attention to literary and philosophical, the relationship of reality and fantasy, and the introduction of national style, in the creative practice; and analysis these novels, through the investigation of the combination of theory and practice, bases on these novels, carries on the through discussion of the localization theory. The final chapter is the summary of this analysis, and the discussion of the development problem of Chinese contemporary science fiction literature, and put forward the expectation for its future development.
