| Trust-in- government is an interactive relationship between the government and the public. It is a reflection of the degree of public trust in government. It is a result from the behavior of the government and the feeling of citizens . Trust-in- government is the tie of social interaction and the lever of social stability. From the perspective of political science, trust-in-government is the psychological foundation of political legitimacy, the basic requirement of conformity ability of government and high level of performance, and the reliable guarantee of political stability and social harmony.Currently, China is in the key historical period of social accelerating transformation. the lack of certain social system and unhealthy social values directly endanger the trust in government. Currently, the situation of trust in government is not ideal, and with lower levels of government, the worse the situation the trust in government .The lack of stability in public policy, low transparency of government action, official corruption and other issues exist. So reshaping government trust becomes an important content of government reengineering projects.Building trust in government is a complex system engineering, which requires the joint effort of personal, social and government. From the perspective of the government, it needs to establish accountable government, government by law and effective government, and set up the good image of the government. From the angle of civil society, it needs to enhance citizens' consciousness, actively cultivate rational citizen and give full play to the role of folk organizations to form the win-win situation of individual citizens, government, and social organization. From the angle of interaction between the two sides, it needs to improve the information disclosure system and social supervision mechanism through which to strengthen the government's response to citizens and to form the Interaction situation between government and citizen situation. |
