Soldiers are the main force of training and performing guard duties in the Armed Police Force. The level of their work stress as well as their subjective well-being will directly affect the performance of their tasks. On the basis of the previous studies, this thesis revises the work stress questionnaire of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force and makes fairly detailed analyses concerning the present situation of the work stress and subjective well-being of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force of Hunan Province as well as the relationships between these two aspects. After a careful study in this regard, a conclusion can be drawn as follows:Firstly, the revised version of the work stress questionnaire of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force involves six factors:working load, working features, interpersonal roles, working competence, personal development, and economic pressure. The revised version has fairly high reliability and validity, which can reflect the present situation of the soldiers'work stress.Secondly, the factors involved in the work stress of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force can be listed as follows: interpersonal roles< working competence< economic pressure < working lord< working features< personal development. Thirdly, the work stress of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force is affected by demographic variables.Fourthly, the subjective well-being of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force is below average level.Fifthly, the subjective well-being of the soldiers in the Armed Police Force is influenced by demographic variables.Sixthly, there is significant negative correlation between work stress and subjective well-being and the correlation coefficient is -0.300. Besides, the dimensions of work stress are remarkably correlated with those of subjective well-being.Last but not least, work stress can negatively forecast subjective well-being. Working lord and features can anticipate subjective well-being. Working lord together with interpersonal roles can predict emotional balance. Working features and economic pressure can calculate life satisfaction.
