Research On Contemporary Chinese Farmers Mentality Modernization

Regardless of any country, human modernization is the key factor which promotes the modernization of the state. The modernization of China also needs human modernization. Most of China's populations are peasants. The development degree of farmers'cognitive psychology, values and thinking mode etc is directly related to the Chinese modernization, which affects the entire Chinese modernization development process. Under the correct leadership of the party and the correct decision, Farmers Mentality, including subject consciousness, political participation, legal consciousness, concept and so on various aspects, have been unprecedented modern change. Some farmers have entered the modern threshold in recent years. Farmers Mentality faces change, from traditional ideology to modern awareness. Therefore, we must pay attention to the modernization of Farmers Mentality in order to accomplish the modernization of China. This paper mainly uses these methods which include literature research Literature research, questionnaire and empirical research methods. Through interviewing, questionnaires and other forms, I examined these farmers whose came from Yin village, Huang Li village and Xiao Li village. Through the analysis on the material, I came to summarize the present state of Farmers Mentality and analyzed it in order to Find out the main factors which strict modern transformation of Farmers Mentality. Finally, put forward the effective approach which can promote Farmers Mentality's modernization.
