A Study On Farmers' Social Mentality Under The Background Of New Rural Construction

In recent years,the CPC Central Committee has taken many important measures to support agriculture.Every year,it has put forward new policies to benefit farmers,constantly promoting farmers' income,strengthening agricultural infrastructure,developing modern agriculture and accelerating the improvement of rural people's livelihood.All these measures are important contents of new rural construction.Speeding up the construction of new countryside is directly related to the modernization of agriculture and the sustained prosperity of rural economy in the new period,and to the improvement of the production and living conditions of farmers.In 2017,Xi Jinping put forward the strategy of rural revitalization,which made the issue of agriculture,countryside and farmers take a new step.Peasants' social mentality is not only the psychological effect of peasants' modernization,agricultural industrialization and rural urbanization in the process of building new countryside in China,but also reflects the changes of peasants and rural areas from external material to internal spiritual outlook.At present,China's rural areas are undergoing profound changes.The behavior characteristics,attitudes,values and ways of thinking of peasants are changing.To some extent,the emergence of peasants' bad social mentality disturbs social development and social order.This paper is based on this research.Specifically,this study mainly uses field observation and interviews,combined with questionnaires,to analyze the characteristics of changes in farmers' social mentality in the context of new rural construction in China,to analyze farmers' satisfaction with new rural construction,and to reveal farmers' mentality from typical rural incidents,and to further analyze the factors affecting farmers' social mentality from various dimensions of new rural construction.Through interviews and questionnaires,this paper finds that the general trend of peasants' social mentality in M Town is to be optimistic about the current life,but there are some unhealthy social mentality in the optimistic mentality.Taking the demolition of village H as an example,this paper analyses the social mentality of peasants in the process of demolition,and interprets the action logic of peasants.In addition,the satisfaction degree of farmers in M town to the new rural construction was analyzed.In a word,the peasants' social mentality in M town has the following characteristics: the continuous improvement of happiness,the coexistence of seeking stability and dreaming of wealth,the pursuit of non-agricultural income mentality,self-protection and indifference mentality,the mentality of calculating and focusing on comparison,the mentality of focusing on benefits,and the mentality of "putting face first".In view of the above social mentality characteristics of farmers,this paper analyzes the causes of these social mentality,and finally puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the negative social mentality of farmers.
