| Background:Subjective well-being is the main content of the quality of life, and has very close relationship with mental health, more and more scholars pay attention to the research of subjective well-being. Since the 1980s Chinese scholars have gradually began to study happiness, research objects including students, teachers, and urban residents, the elderly and young from city, but research for some special crowd of subjective well-being is rare, few studies also for pilots, especially on the special people flying in the military personnel have be seen in reports.Military pilots are the elite of the State and the army, new military struggle important part of the backbone of air defense, and their quality of life, well-being index can not be ignored.Military flight personnel's quality of life, happiness situation directly affects flight training effect, to understand their subjective well-being conditions and the influencing factors have important significance to strengthen the security and stability and improve army troops fighting. Objective:To investigate the military pilots'subjective well-being and its influencing factors, and how the social support and coping styles influence the happiness of the Military pilots. Methods:The prevalence study. We use general well-being scale, social support scale, simplified coping style questionnaire, general situation scale to carry on the questionnaire survey to the military pilots from October 2009 to January 2010 in Dalian air force aviation medical appraisal training center. We collected 268 valid questionnaires, analysis them with statistical software spss13.0, the main methods include descriptive analysis, variance inspection, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple stepwise regression analysis, etc.Results:1.The lowest score in 268 military flight personnel GWB questionnaire is 55 points; the highest is 117 points ; the average score is 89.02±11.56 points, 14 points higher than the norm (75±15), We concluded air force pilots' general happiness is higher than the ordinary people (P < 0.01).2.In the different influential factors, cultural degree, family structure, marital status, family income, interest of military pilots' GWB score are not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Different age, flight time, flight models, personality types, health, opinion of the recipients, leadership relationship, family care degree, family atmosphere of military pilots' GWB score are statistically significant (P < 0.05).3. Different social support degree and different ways of coping also effect GWB score statistically(P <0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that actively coping and GWB score are positively relevant(P <0.01),negative coping with GWB score are significantly negative relevant(P <0.01). All dimensions between GWB and SSRS are significantly positive relevant(P <0.01).4.The results of multiple linear regression show that it puts seven factors into the regression equation, the total variance explained degree of GWB is close to 42.2%(R2=0.422). According to the degree of affecting factors on subjective well-being, it sorted for family atmosphere, objective support, actively coping, task pressure, family care, housing conditions, negative coping. Conclusion:The level of Military pilots' general well-being is higher than the others. We should pay attention to strengthen the social support system of the military pilots, to help them to build good relationship between them and leadership, comrades-in-arms, to make their lives in forces have security and belonging; Pay attention to care about military pilot family ,Ensure their family harmony and their livelihood stable, These are the important way to improve the military pilots' happiness; To help military pilots to establish correct cognition, to take positive coping styles, to reduce negative ways and the above are important means of improving the pilots. |
