In the early 19c, Marx have supposed a unified science in <Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts>. He proposed a thought that the natural science and humanities and social sciences will to be one unified science. First of all, this paper introduced the thought of unified science in <Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts> and <The German Ideology>. Also held a viewpoint that the theory of unified science have a basis on the materialist conception of history of Marx, and also been showed in his other thoughts. The theory of Marx's unified science is accord with his philosophy of dialectical view of the practice and anti- alienation. Then the paper tried to state what inspiration this theory can give for discipline building of contemporary China and the construction of times philosophy.First part, the paper proposes the Marx's unified science and introduce the overview of domestic and international research, then gives the train of thought.In the second part , the paper expounds the origin of Marx's Theory of Unified Science; and continues to discuss this theory in the foundation of his Materialistic interpretation of history.In the third part, starting with the modernity of Marx's Unified Science, we will analyze the position of Unified Science in Marx's Theory and in other Science, as well as discuss the relationship between historical materialism and practical materialism.What is fully discussed in part four is the further development of big science system and the construction of historical philosophy in China under the inspiration of the Unified Science of Marx's Theory.
