"Lawyers are professional legal workers who have passed the national judicial examination and have acquired a lawyer's practice certificate according to law. They are entrusted or designated to provide legal services to the parties. "In his paper, the "young lawyers" refers to those professional lawyers who are under 35 years old and being at initial and intermediate stage of professional life. Also it includes some who have no lawyer qualification, but engage in lawyal work.Lawyers play an important role in the our country's economy, politics, culturel and lives. In the public eyes, lawyer's social status and income levels are headed, but in fact there are serious uneven income distribution problems in the lawyer industry. There are necessarily social and collective problems in the young lawyers and law workers. This article begins from the central province of shanxi, investigating social living conditions of more than 300 young lawyers and law workers to explore the crux of the problems so that we can seek the solutions.Since our legal system reconstruction, the legal profession develops rapidly. According to the November 2010 conference convened by the National Statistics Law, the current law firm in China has grown to more than 17,000, the development of lawyers to nearly 20 million people. As of September 2010, Shanxi Province, serves more than 3,300 lawyers, including more than 600 new recruits lawyers, accounting for 20% of the total.In the survey, we found that lawyers'living conditions are serious. They have great problems in social status, salary, overtime vacation, medical insurance and so on. We tried to perfect the management system, strengthen the lawyers'training, and improve the quality of self-discipline and safeguard function of lawyers association, publicize the beneficial effects to people extensively so that we can solve the problems above and improve the living conditions of young lawyers in Shanxi Province.
