The Taiwan issue is the development of China-US relations in the biggest variable. To resolve the Taiwan issue and realizing complete reunification of the motherland is one of the tasks of history. However, the Taiwan issue is not just pure relations across the Taiwan Strait, its formation and evolution of the United States caused by the long-term involvement. U.S. intervention in the Taiwan Strait is essentially controlled by the Asia Pacific region to contain China's rise. It is because of the evolution of the United States on the Taiwan issue, so the possibility of peaceful reunification decreased; precisely because the United States to support Taiwan against mainland China, the Taiwan Strait, increasing the risk of armed conflict; It is because of U.S. support for Taiwan to seek international status, the Taiwan issue was the tendency of internationalization emerged; is split because the United States efforts to maintain cross-strait status quo, the Taiwan issue was a persistent trend emerged.This article is divided into four parts stated:The first part describes the U.S. Congress Foreign Affairs behavior.
