The Research About The Operation And The Practice Of Chinese E-Governance

With the advances in the information and communications technology (ICT), the internet has increasingly become indispensable to daily life tool. In recent year, the evolution and the achievement of E-governance from Chinese government is very remarkable. It definitely promoted the development of Chinese democratic political process, and become a new landscape in the construction of political civilization.From now on, the Chinese E-governance platforms include the government portal sites, the mainstream media websites, BBS, Blog and micro-blog which is very popular now. This article investigated the operation of these platforms, and found that our government portal sites have formed the mode of operation which based on information delivering , services online and interactive communication . While the online services of our government portal site is weak compare with the developed countries, and the user segment also has the gap between other countries. In these years, the mainstream media websites has done a good job of the interactive communication between public and government with their own advantages. And they also use the power of opinion leaders to initiate topics and guide public opinion. Besides, governments also use BBS, blog and micro-blog to explore the way about the E-governance, and make some achievements. Especially the micro-blog, what is very popular in government agencies and officials. But there are many aspects need to upgrade about how to make a reasonable use of these platforms.Base on the analysis of the aforementioned platforms characteristics, this article analyzed and summarized the characteristics about these type of platform, point out their advantages, limitations, duplication and complementarities, then propose the ways to improve the existing problems, through a more micro, more specific perspective, to analysis the operation and practice of Chinese E-governance.
